What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We process personal data provided by you or generated by us.

Generally, we process your personal data according to the provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) for various purposes. There is no obligation to provide us with any personal data. This is only asked to provide us with the data necessary for our services. Without this personal data, we may not be able to offer you our services.



When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.


Contact forms

Personal data will only be captured when someone submits a contact form. In this case, we will only save the user’s email address for future newsletters and customer service purposes. This information will be saved for 12 months and will not be shared with anyone.

Only in exceptional cases the user’s full IP-address will be transmitted to a server of Google in the US and truncated there. IP-anonymization is active on our websites.

In our case, Google will process this data in order to analyze your use of our website, to render services regarding the use of our website, and to generate reports on website activity. The IP-address transmitted by your browser will not be associated with other data in possession of Google.

Social networks

This Website is connected to several social networks via “Social Plugins“.

Without any action by you as User the Social Plugins are deactivated and no data is transferred. If you want to share our content, you must click the respective button first. Only with the click of the respective button a connection to the social network will be set up and data transferred thereto.

The provider of the Plugin will get the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online service. Additionally, automatically collected Access Data are transmitted.

The providers of Plugins process the data collected about you via the Plugins, create usage profiles and use them for purposes of advertising, market research and / or tailor-made design of their website. Such processing is carried out in particular for the presentation of needs-based advertisement and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. The data collection by the provider of the Plugin is carried out regardless of whether you have an account with the provider and are logged while using the Plugin. How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

How we protect your data

The Sports Edu follows the industry standards on information security management to protect sensitive information, such as financial information, employee details, intellectual property, and any other information entrusted to us. Our information security systems apply to people, processes, and information technology systems on a risk management basis. 

No method if information over the internet, or electronic storage, is 100% secure. Thus, we are unable to guarantee the complete security of personal information.

What data breach procedures we have in place

The Sports Edu protects customer data with the following site features:

  • Using SSL/HTTPS throughout all our sites. This encrypts our user communications with the servers so personal identifiable information is never captured by third parties without authorization.
  • Databases are sanitized (personal details of the user are removed) before deploying to development or testing environment.

In case of a data breach, our system administrators will immediately go through affected users and will attempt to reset passwords if needed after informing the user.

What third parties we receive data from

We do not receive data from third-party cookies at the moment. However, we may have some advertisements/affiliates in the future that require their own cookies. 


What automated decision-making and/or profiling we do with user data

We do not use automated decision-making. For profiling, we use Google Analytics 4 as a tracking tool. For further information, see ”Google Analytics” above.
